Perfume Area is a fragrance review project between Sydney Shen & Laurel Schwulst.
Each review is a “prose pocket world,” lyrical and written in second person, like a tour through an imagined landscape.
In Perfume Area: The Alphabet, twenty six special reviews were delicately handpicked as a fragrance grammar and discovery set. Each perfume review, A–Z, is time-sensitive, changing according to the viewer’s local time, and fully blooming in prose for a handful of hours every day.
